T&Cs When We Clean We clean your bins on the same day as your waste collection or the following day. Please ensure your bins are empty and easily accessible on the day of your scheduled clean. Access It is the customer’s responsibility to leave bins in a location that our team can easily access. If we are unable to access your bin (for example, if it is behind a locked gate, obstructed, or not presented), the clean will be marked as missed and no refund will be issued. Our team will always make reasonable efforts to access your bin safely and respectfully. Payments Our service operates on a monthly subscription, paid one month in advance. If a clean is missed due to access issues, the service will still be chargeable as our team will have attended your address. Cancellations Subscriptions are provided under a 12-month agreement. You have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of signing up without providing a reason. If no cleaning service has been carried out during this period, a full refund will be issued. If a cleaning service has already taken place during the cooling-off period, The Bin Doctor reserves the right to charge for the service already provided and refund any remaining balance. Refunds are not available for part-months or for cleans that have already been paid for. Missed Cleans If we are unable to complete a clean due to circumstances beyond our control (including blocked access, bins not being emptied by the council, or bins not being presented), the visit will still be recorded and will remain chargeable. Service Limitations For safety reasons, we cannot clean bins that contain: • Excessive rubbish • Hazardous materials • Sharp or dangerous objects • Loose animal faeces • Wet paint If this occurs, the clean will be skipped and the visit will still be chargeable. Weather & Delays Occasionally the British weather or other operational issues may cause delays. If this happens, your clean will be rescheduled as soon as possible. Route Adjustments To maintain an efficient service, The Bin Doctor may occasionally need to adjust cleaning schedules or routes. This may result in your bin being cleaned on a different day than usual. Customers will be notified where reasonably possible, and the frequency of service will always remain the same. Liability While we take great care when cleaning your bins, we cannot be held responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects such as cracks, loose wheels, or broken lids. Customers are responsible for maintaining or replacing their bins, whether they are council-issued or privately owned. Right to Refuse or Suspend Service The Bin Doctor reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel service if staff experience unsafe working conditions, repeated access issues, abusive behaviour, or misuse of the service. That’s why we use eco-friendly cleaning products and ensure wastewater is disposed of responsibly to help protect the environment. Agreement By submitting your booking, you agree to our Terms and Conditions and request that your bin clean starts within 14 days, which may affect your right to cancel.
